FREESAT - Installation & Repairs
Freesat is a digital satellite TV service from the BBC and ITV, launched in May 2008. To watch you'll need a Freesat receiver or Freesat ready TV, a satellite dish and ideally an HD-ready TV. It's basically the satellite equivalent of the digital terrestrial TV service Freeview – once you've paid for the box, dish and installation there are no more ongoing monthly subscription costs.
The Freesat system is ideal for people who live in very poor reception areas or where TV aerial installation is not possible.
Freesat brings over 80 great digital TV and radio channels, including High Definition (HD) programmes all for FREE!!
Almost everyone in the UK can get Freesat it’s broadcast by Astra 2D @ 28.2 and reaches 98% of UK households. There are approximately 9 million HD-ready TV’s out there in the UK that are not receiving any HD service.
